I beat Guy to the finish line. 4. Doubtful about computer accuracy entire night (right lane no 1000 time) 4. 67 degrees 5. Very low on gas (20 miles left in tank)
Overall track comments: My tires did not spin the entire night. Seemed to hook up very well. It was not until an hour later on my drive home that I realized that in all six races I had my traction control on. With traction control off I would expect a little better times due to the computer monitoring/restricting horsepower to the rear wheel to avoid wheel spin. I wonder how accurate the Compulink computer on the track was especially since I actually won the last race against Guy although the computer showed different. My board actually displayed first indicating I had won. There was a wreck in the right lane earlier in the week, this cold have affected the computer. It has been stated that the Montgomery track is actually a few feet longer than the Steele track. However, it is still considered a 1/4 mile, this would make 1/4 mile times a little slower. Air temperature was much higher than at Steele, this definitely affects horsepower. With my newest upgrade (UUC exhaust), I was hoping to see better times, however track conditions (air temp, humidity, etc.) varied very much than that from Steele. I will try to get to Steele again when conditions are closer to my first visit to determine HP gains from newest upgrade.
