Jack Davis: "Crucible"
Jack Davis: "Here's a pic of the ol' group "CRUCIBLE"...First picture
ever made at first performance (1967) and final (1971). The members are Tom Hensley - Drums, Johnny Gann - Lead, Joe Davis (brother)-Rhythm, Mike Stephens - Keyboard, and me
on bass."
Kirk Bjornsgaard: "Dark Carnival"
Kirk Bjornsgaard: "The band was called Dark Carnival, playing covers of British Blues (which of course were covers of American blues)...oh, well!" The photo was taken December 23, 1969.
Del Halterman: "Dimensions"
Del Halterman: "Here is my old band in Calgary, The Dimensions - 1964, in our monogrammed collarless "Beatle jackets." That's me on the left with the bass, drummer Ken Baird, rhythm Doug Johnson, and our lead man, Al Nawata. "
Marty Tippens: "Forge"
Marty Tippens: "This first one is my band "Forge" playing a high school dance in '74. I was
the drummer rather obscured by hair. Songs covered at the dance were "Smoke On
The Water", "American Woman" and other guitar rock fav's of the day."
Mike Tarno: "The Gems"
Mike Tarno: The Gems, New Year's Eve, December 31, 1969. This photo has seen better days, and was originally a very faded, stained color pic.
