   HOPE OF RESURRECTIONS~~~~>>>

Have you had someone you loved or admired die? Most have, and it is hard dealing with that empty space in your life.  God, who is all merciful, in His purpose, will some day fill that empty space! You will be able to see them again in a resurrection.

Hebrews 9:27 tells us, "It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment."

Salvation means being saved from something. Although it is appointed that all must die, there is a chance for everyone to be saved from permanent death by a resurrection, born again, each in his own order. (I Corinthians 15:23) God has a plan for these resurrections from death.

First, it is important to understand that there are different kinds of resurrections:

1) Jesus' resurrection which was, and always will be, unique, because He started as spirit, became human, and was resurrected back to spirit.  This is the only example of a resurrection from human to spirit.
2) The resurrection of the rest of the firstfruits from human to spirit, that follows, is called the first resurrection.
3)  The resurrection of human to human. These could be called miracles. These would be the resurrection of Lazarus (John 11:11-45), raising the widows only son (Luke 7:11-15, Jairus's daughter (Mark 5:22-24 & 35-43), those that rose at Jesus' death (Matthew 27:52), and Elijah raising up the widows only son (I Kings 17:9-24) In these cases their deaths, like ours, are called sleep, it is a sleep that knows nothing. (Ecclesiastes 9:5)  There will also be such a resurrection after the millennium reign of Christ, called the second resurrection.
4) The resurrection of the incorrigible to a permanent death called the third resurrection.

All have a choice.

These resurrections will be at different times:
1) The first resurrection of humans is that of the first fruits, or elect, who have been changed to spirit.  After that, Jesus calls them to Himself from the clouds. (I Thessalonians  4:13-17 & I Corinthians 15:51-52) (Revelation 20:6) Later they will return to earth with Jesus to reign with Him for 1,000 years. During that reign, humans will die, and then be resurrected to eternal life or eternal death.
2) After the 1,000 year reign of Jesus there will be a resurrection of the  dead that never knew about God or Jesus, and those who did, but did not understand and follow Them. God will put His commandments in their hearts, and they will have a chance to become spirit and live forever, IF they are willing to always live God's way.
3) There is a third resurrection of those incorrigible ones who after knowing God's way, chose not to follow that way. They will die an everlasting human, and spiritual death. They will become nothing, cremated when God burns up the earth and it is done away. (II Peter 3:7-13, Malachi 4:1) This is the second death. This is a just end.  There is no everlasting suffering, they become nothing.  It is right that they should be done away, for nothing that defiles can enter the kingdom of God on the new earth. (Revelation 21:27)

The last thing conquered is death!  I Corinthians 15:26 says, "The last enemy that will be destroyed is death."

By choosing to obey God, when He gives one understanding, a person can be resurrected to everlasting life.  So, there is a great hope of becoming a child of God in His kingdom, for you, and yours!
