THE HOPE OF BEING BORN AGAIN------------->>>>

Born as what? Why must we be born again? Where will the elect be? When will this happen?  How can we be born again?

Born as spirit!  I Corinthians 15:52-53 states, "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." The elect of God both the living and the dead, will be changed to spirit, becoming incorruptible.

I John 3:2 says, ". . .we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is." Only spirit can see God, humans would die.

I Corinthians 15: 35-49 tells us, A seed when it is sown, must die and be changed to produce, and be harvested. As seeds of promise, we humans must die before being changed to spirit, and harvested as sons of God. Verse 46 says, "the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual." There is a difference between the earthly and the spiritual. Verse 49 continues, "as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man."

We are citizens of heaven.   Philippians 3:20, says "Our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself."  We look forward with joy to going home as spirit beings!

Our God is not one of confusion, the living elect will be prepared.  They will be prepared because they are always looking forward to this event, and living according to God's way.

Why must we be born again?
1. One must be born to spirit so the they can join Christ in heaven.

I Thessalonians 4:17
says, that the elect will be "caught up" to meet Christ in the clouds. The dead in Christ also will meet Him there at the same time.  All the elect go to the mansions/residences prepared for them in all parts of heaven. (John 14:2-3)
2. One must be born again to be prepared to be in Christ's army when He returns to earth to start His millennial reign.  The number seven in the Bible reflects completion, so it would seem that the elect would need to be trained seven years for completion.

When the elect are ready they will be called from their mansions/residences in all parts of heaven to follow Him back to earth. (Matthew 24:30-31) At this time, He puts His feet on the Mt. of Olives. (Zechariah 14:3-4)

Christ's millennial reign will then begin bringing God's way, and heal the earth. The spirit elect will assist Him in positions of priests and kings. (Revelation 1:6)

Where will the elect be when born again?
They will be on earth having accepted Jesus by receiving the symbol of the body and blood of Christ at the Passover, and following His ways.  Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 26:29 "But I say to you, I will not  drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom."

When will the elect be born again?
This is not for us to know not even Jesus knows this.  Matthew 24:36 says, "But of that day and hour no one knows, no, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only"  It will be a complete surprise, so one must always be ready.  Matthew 24:44 tell us, "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him."

How born to spirit?  I Corinthians 6:14 "And God both raised up the Lord, and will also raise us up by His power."  We must never underestimate the power of God.

The dead will be raised up, the living will die in a twinkling and also be changed to spirit and raised up. I Corinthians 15:52 says "Behold, I tell you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed--in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and we shall be changed."

I Thessalonians 4:16 "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord."

What a wonderful hope!
