JESUS THE DOOR ~~~~>>>
John 10:9 tells us that Jesus said, "I am the Door. If anyone enters (the kingdom) by Me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture."
Jesus is central to our salvation. He was predestined from creation to fulfill the Heavenly Father's plan.
He was vital in creation, throughout all history, appeared in human form to save us, and is also vital in the end time prophecies. The word "gospel" means "Good News"! Jesus preached the good news of the the Kingdom of God, and made the way for all to get there.
Jesus Christ in the beginning:
In John 1:1 it explains, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men." :14 "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. . ." :17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ in history:
He is the LORD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Old Testament. I Corinthians 10:1-4 tells us, "Brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, and drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.
The New Testament fulfills, and embellishes, the Old Testament. The words "It is written" are in the New Testament fifty-five times. Each time, the words are referring to the Old Testament, which Jesus and the apostles followed. The New Testament was then being lived, it was not yet Scripture.
Jesus Christ the Savior:
We learn in I Timothy2:5-6 that "there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, . . .
Jesus says in John 8:12 "I am the light of the world, He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."
Jesus Christ in the end:
The book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible, tells us that Jesus, the Lamb of God, is the only one in heaven, on earth, or under the earth, worthy to open the scroll concerning the end times. (Revelation 5:1-10)
Finally, Jesus will come a second time as King of kings, Lord of lords to forcefully bring His Father's kingdom of peace, joy, and prosperity, to this rebellious earth. (Revelation 19:11-16) See Outline of Revelation
