Abortion

What does God say about the fetus? 

God is at work in a person's life while he is in the womb. 

Psalm 139:13-14, NIV. "For you created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

God's commandment forbids the taking of life. It says in Exodus 20:13, NIV. "You shall not murder."

ABORTION is the termination of a pregnancy by taking the life of the baby before it comes to full term.

 The Bible says, --

For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. (Psalm 139:13). 

When an unborn child is aborted, a human being is being slaughtered. 

In Jeremiah we read

:3 And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.
4 Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;
5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind: Jeremiah 19

 Reflection: God has a purpose for every life. Isn't it fair to give the unborn a chance in life?
