Call Upon His Name

   ~THE POWER OF PRAYER~

Just Call On His Name

--- Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. -John 16: 23-24

His Name is Great. I love the Name of Jesus. There is no other Name quite like it. Just call upon His Name. Jesus Most High God. The sound of His Name brings peace and sweetness.

His Name is Powerful. I
n the Name of Jesus Peter commanded the crippled man to rise up and walk. Share your heart with Him today. His Name drives away evil. Use His Name, it will drive away loneliness. Sing praises to His Name

His Name is Holy. And call upon me and I will answer him--- Psalm 91 15. Your Father knows what you need. The Lord is far from the wicked but He hears the prayer of the righteous. Proverbs 15: 29

He will hear your cries today. Just call upon Him. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus He hears the faintest call. Then shall thou call and the Lord shall answer thou shall cry, and He shall say, Here I am ...Isaiah 58:9 Call unto Me and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things which thou knows not. Jeremiah 33: 3

Acknowledge His Name  There is life through His Name. John 20: 31 Approach God through the Name of Jesus. He will hear you. Have faith in His Name. Acts 3: 16

Just Call On His Name. In the Name of Jesus we have victory.

~Call Upon Him~

In this life we have a special friend

To go with us to the end

This friend is God is Almighty, the Most High

He sees every tear in your eye

All our trials will seem so small

When upon His Name we call

When we are hungry, He is there

All our burdens He does bear

He owns the whole wide world

Life's problems at Him are hurled

So friend, just call on his Name today

He'll hear your cry and make a way

If I were hungry, I would not tell thee:

for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof.

Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

And call upon me in the day of trouble:

 I will deliver thee, and thou shall glorify me.

-Psalm 50: 12-15

Wonderful News!

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved and your house. -Acts 16: 31

Acts 16" 11-16

11 Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis;
12 And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.
13 And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.
14 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.
15 And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.
16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:

Prayer Warriors

P rayer is just having conversation with God,
R eserve special time no matter where you trod,
A lways remember to praise Him above,
Y ielding yourself and showing Him love,
E verthing being prayed in His will,
R eady with answers for requests to fill,

W hen you pray, know that He hears,
A lways wanting to brush away the tears,
R emember in His timing there may be a wait,
R emembering His timing never early nor late,
I ntercede to Him when others are weak,
O n behalf of those always His face to seek,
R est in the fact that He hears every cry,
S avior and Lord, on Him do rely.

THE LORD'S PRAYER

Our Father Who art in Heaven,
hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory
are yours now and forever.

Amen.

NO TIME TO PRAY

I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.

All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer.
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.

I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God held a book;
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find.
I once was going to write it down...
But you never found the time."

WHAT SATAN FEARS MOST

What Satan fears most
Is a man on his knees;
Not vast marching armies
With great weaponry.

He knows he can stand
Against the power of men;
To engage us in battle
Is mere sport to him.

But a man on his knees
With his head bowed in prayer
Is something quite different
To the prince of the air.

For when he sees us in prayer
To our God most high,
He knows we have seen
Through his devilish lies.

That's why Satan fears most
A man on his knees;
And we'll keep him trembling
If our prayers never cease.

God's Promise

God never promised
A life without pain,
Laughter without tears
Or sun without rain.
But He did promise
Strength for the day,
Comfort for the tears
And light for the way,
And for all who believe
In His Heaven above
He rewards their faith
In His everlasting love.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life

Bread Of Life

My soul longs for Jesus, the Bread of Life

The only food that  satisfies my desire

Without this Bread, I hunger always

Jesus, give me this Bread that I may eat

Bread of Life, feed me daily, so that never

Will I hunger any more
