Time
Waits for no-one
O Lord, you
have made us very small, and we bring our years to an end like a tale
that is tale; help us to remember that beyond our brief day is
the eternity of your love.

Ecclesiastes
3:1-8
To
everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born,
And a time to die
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,
And time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones:
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
And a time to speak;
A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time for war,
And a time of peace.
God
so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that
who-so-ever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
life.
-John
3: 16 KJV

"The
clock of life is wound but once,
And no man has the power
To tell just when the hands will stop
At late or early hour.
To lose
one's wealth is sad indeed.
Too lose one's health is more.
To lose one's soul is such a loss
That no man can restore."
Today,
only is our own.
So live, love and toil with a will.
Place no faith in tomorrow,
For the clock may soon be still.

The
Value of Time
To
realize the value of one year;
Ask a student who has
failed a final exam.
To realize the value of one month;
ask a mother who has
given birth to a premature baby.
To realize the value of one hour;
Ask the lovers who are
waiting to meet.
To realize the value of one minute;
ask the person who has
missed the train, or bus or plane.
To realize the value of one second;
ask a person who has
survived an accident.
To realize the value of one millisecond;
Ask the person who has
won silver at the Olympics.
Time waits for no one. Treasure every moment you have.
You will treasure it
even more if you can spend it with someone special.
