~Daystar Dawning~

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 2 Peter 1:19

The Word gives light and understanding, and is quick and powerful. The Word of God is light for our way. God's Word came by Holy men of God moved by the Holy Ghost. It is for reproofs and instructions. We do well when we read and heed the Words of God. In olden days the heathen gave the highest respect to oracles from their gods. They held them as sacred. How much more should not Christians obey the Bible, which is God's Words? (Oracles).

We have an infallible revelation in all of life's affairs given in God's Word. Let God arise and be praised and glorified until the day star dawns and Jesus comes back to earth again.

How special is God to You?

Can a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet my people have forgotten me days without number. Jeremiah 2:32

Israel, God's people, was reminded that He should be very special to them. God should have been as wonderful to them as ornaments were to a maid and as attire to the bride. Yet it seems they went for days without even thinking of Him.

Does God have that special place in our lives? Do we think of Him often and long to be clothed in His Love? God said His people had forgotten Him. O how this must sadden God's heart as He longs to draw near to the beloved.

Let His love envelope you today. Let jubilation arise as you think of Him today. He is longing for your attention.

~God's Grace~

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:8

The grace of God is found in His great love for sinners. He longs to do them good. Jesus offered up His body so sinners could be made pure and whole. God's grace is sufficient for every need. The grace of God brings salvation. His grace builds us up and gives us an inheritance in the family of God. Through faith we accept His wonderful grace. This wonderful grace appears to all men everywhere.

Thank you Jesus for Your marvelous grace.

~Buckets Full of Grace~

When the sun hides its face

And everything is wrong
Just bring your bucket
Let God fill it with grace

Buckets full of grace
Grace for all our fears
And Grace for all our tears
God fill up our buckets

In times of trouble
Do not turn from God
Do not be angry
God has a bucket of grace

Turn to God in faith
And in humility
Ask Him to let down
A bucket full of His grace

Sins hammering your heart
Void of love and peace
Let a bucket of grace
Fall down from above

------

O come! Do not linger
His grace is sufficient
for all of your many needs

Fill our buckets with Your Grace

~Peace~

To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. -Luke 1:79

Isn't our Lord wonderful to give us peace? We do not have to go through life boggled down with cares, when all we have to do is cast them on Him. The lord gives strength unto His people and blesses them with peace. All people want peace and in order to obtain peace we have to follow God's plan. Then the Lord will lift up His countenance on us and give us peace that passes all understanding. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Thank you God for your peace and strength and the blessing of peace.

~Prayer~

Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me and I will hearken unto you. Jeremiah. 29:12

It is so good to have such an intimate friend. Prayer can be a part of our life in so much that everything we do and say, we consult God. Then we are very close to Him. Hi is very gracious and hears our cry and He will answer. If we ask according to His will we have confidence that He hears us. When we pray we should leave it all in His hands and not try to plan our own answer, which we usually make. Just ask, believe and receive.

~Humility~

Humble yourselves therefore

Under the mighty hand of God,

 That he may exalt you

 In due time:

-1 Peter 5:6

Oh how hard it can be to humble yourself sometimes. We are commanded to do so. Be humbled by God's power so that when the right time comes he will honor you. "For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted." -Luke 14:11

The hand of God is in all troubles. He knows the way we take, and His grace is sufficient. We need humility in order to have peace in our churches and homes. Pride has crept in so many times and done much damage. Satan comes to devour and destroy souls. We must be watchful, diligent, steadfast, and unmovable in the faith. Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you.

 ~SERVICE FOR GOD~

For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent. Zephaniah 3:9 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts? -Malachi 3:14

The Christian life is one of service. In order to please God fully we have to come apart and spend time with Him. We live in this world, but not of it. We need to meditate on the Word and think on God often in order to be fully pleasing to Him

Equipped in the Spirit. There can be no limit to the infilling of His Spiritual power. Yield to God completely.

The Golden Rule:

"Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You" (Matthew 7:12).

Molded For Service

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. -Romans 12:1-2

What is more joy of life than knowing that we are pleasing God. That brings full satisfaction. Our lives and bodies are to be molded in His values and to the worlds when our mind is dedicated to the things of this world it produces a life of unrest, tossed back and forth by the currents of culture.

A mind that is dedicated to God produces a life that can stand the test of time. Mediating on God's truths and letting the Holy Spirit guide and shape our thoughts and behavior will bring real satisfaction and we will be able then to resist the temptations of our culture. Be transformed today by the renewing of your mind. Be sure to read the whole chapter of Romans 12, as it sheds much light upon this topic.

Study The Word

Study to show thyself approved unto God. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me -John 5:39

God desires His children to be thoroughly knowledgeable in the scriptures. They are life to us.  The Bible is the greatest book ever written. God speaks t mankind in His Word. It gives comfort in sorrow, guidance, advice for our daily problems and rebuke for our sins. It is our daily inspiration for every need. The Bible is our source of knowledge as it explains why we are here and where we are going. It is the only way to salvation. Jesus Christ is the greatest theme for His redemptive work of salvation. Read the gospels to see Him fully revealed. See how He is coming back to earth again. The greatest purpose of the Word is to reveal the living Word of God the Lord Jesus Christ. -John 1:1-18

Crucified With Christ

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. - Galatians 2: 20

Things that have touched others through our life. Our life touches others so we need to die daily to the flesh and please God. Let the nature of Christ rule our life. Show love, forgiveness and mercy. Have compassion Submit to God and let Christ power live in us. Be crucified with Christ. It is at live of faith. Christ death on the cross-made it possible for us to show mercy to others.

  Confidence

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. -1 John 5:14,15

Anything according to his will, we have confidence. A Christian who loves and pleases God will want to please Him. He hears our prayers and never fails to send the right answer. Whatever we ask He hears. All things within his blessed will. We are his children and He cares.

Before they call, I will answer and while they are speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 56:24 Why pray if we have so little confidence in God. Sometimes we are too busy planning our own answer to prayer. We must take time and pray, and then we can have confidence in Him to meet our needs according to His will

IN MY NAME

Where two or three are gathered together in My Name, there am I in the midst of them -Matthew 18:20

Bring your family together for the reading of God's Word and prayer. Jesus will be there with you in the midst. He listens to our faintest cry of His children. He hears them as they tenderly read His Word and converses about His Love

Gather two or three together in His Name. Enjoy His fellowship. Enjoy His loving presence. Magnify the Lord and exalt His name together Ps 34:3

God Rejoices Over Us

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. - Zephaniah. 3:17

A wonderful promise of God is in the midst of the church. His power prevails and is mighty to save, if people will trust Him. We do not have to live a defeated life. God’s church can go forth in victory when we use the power available to us. God's church doesn’t have to grow cold and in different. A devoted church goes forward because God is in the midst. He rejoices over the church with joy. He saves and heals.

SERVICE FOR GOD

For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent. Zephaniah 3:9  Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts? -Malachi 3:14

The Christian life is one of service. In order to please God fully we have to come apart and spend time with Him. We live in this world, but not of it. We need to meditate on the Word and think on God often in order to be fully pleasing to Him

Equipped in the Spirit. There can be no limit tot he infilling of His Spiritual power. Yield to God completely.

Forgiveness

Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you." -Eph. 4:32

God's forgives us our own sin, so we should be conscious of the need of kindness and consideration for others. It is of God's tender loving mercy that we possess joy, peace and love from His marvelous grace. Such great mercy!

If one forgives freely they will also be freely forgiven. If one is stubborn and difficult and tends to hold grudges, they will find difficulty in obtaining forgiveness from God. How sad that would be. God in all His wisdom and love treats us much as we treat others, when it comes to forgiveness.

 ~~Firm Trust in God~~

Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. -Job 13:15

Job shows unquenchable faith in God. He lived by faith and not by sight. It seemed that God had turned against him, but he still retained his faith in God. Job feared the Lord and was going to withdraw his hand and was not afraid to acknowledge his before God. There is going to be testing for all of us as we travel the road of life. Will we pass the test
Do we have that same deep faith? That is faith that really pleases God?

~~The Word of God~~

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Heb: 4:12

The Word is quick or living. It reaches into the inner secrets of one's mind to discern even his thoughts and intents. God's sees man as necked and unable to hide behind any excuse or pretense. God is ever beholding our lives and knows every detail. The Word of God will stand when everything else fails and will carry us safely to our Heavenly home.

~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~

plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you a hope and a
future

~Joy Along The Way~

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. John 15: 11

We can have joy in life, although stressful days come our way. Though slaved by hopelessness, denial, failure and disappointment or even in danger, God wants our joy to remain. When our eyes are on Jesus and we trust in Him joy awaits for us. In His presence is fullness of joy. See God in all circumstance of life, even upon the dark days. He is working out a plan for us and will not put more on us than we are able to bear.

Sing for joy as the widow woman did. -For his anger endures but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. -They that sow in tears shall reap in joy-Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart. There is coming a time when we shall be full of joy forever more. -And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away-For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands

~~Honored Saints~~

Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellow-prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me. -Romans 16:7

Paul in his letter talked of his kinsmen, Andronicus and Junia. They had been in the Christian way long before Paul and were to be honored. No doubt this was a man of God with his wife and had suffered with him in prison as the scriptures tell us. They were well known to the Apostles. Aristobulus is thought by some, to be the grandson of “Herod the great”.  No matter what their background was, they were special saints of God and were to be honored. They had been in the Christian walk for a long time.

Today we need to honor those in our midst who have led the way for us. They usually have much wisdom as they have been in the Christian walk for many years. Let's use every opportunity to let them know they are special to the church and to God.

~Praying For Our Nation~

And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: Daniel 9:3

And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: Daniel 9:3

Daniel sat his face to seek the Lord. He prayed for his nation and made confession for their sins. Daniel wanted an answer from God. He confessed to God "we have sinned, rebelled, done wickedly and departed from God's Laws". We have not listen to your prophets.

This sounds like our nations today, but prayer can change it. If we pray and confess our sins, God is very merciful and forgiving. He will bless our nations again. God is faithful to His Word and cannot lie, but if the nations do not repent of their sins, He will surely reward them for their disobedience.

We do not want to live under a curse. We would be better if we did as Daniel did. - Get down on our knees and bring the sins of our nation before God. Confess sins for our-self and our nation.  He is righteous in all His ways and works.

~~Close Contact With Jesus~~

But cleave unto the LORD your God, as ye have done unto this day. _ Joshua 23-8

We are living in a stressful world. It is mind-boggling to think of all the happenings in our world. There are some that suffer hardships in life more than others. We have to be strong in the faith and stand up against Satan's lies and harassments. Faith in the Truths of the Word will see us through. Being in constant communication with God and looking not on the things of the world will bring victory.  God delights in helping His children to bring them peace and hope.  We need Him more than ever now in these last days so we must focus on Christ who will see us through.

The closer we stay by His side, the easier it is to accept being loved by Him.  He will remove the tears, relieve the hardness and restore sweetness. Be refreshed by His presence.

~~Hand Of God~~

He is not far from everyone of us. Neither is He hard to find.  His hand is extended today to all who will trust Him. Man tends to hide from God since the days of Adam.  His great hand of love is on His children

Attend to the matters of God and seek Him.  Make your supplications to the Almighty.  His hand will then be upon you.  We can be made strong by the hands of the Mighty God of Jacob.

Now it may seem that God is hard to find. He is very easy to find. He is always nearby strengthening us with His right hand and showing His marvelous loving kindness. Ps. 17:7

Do not forget that the hand of our God is upon all of them that seek Him: but his power and His wrath is against all them that forsake him. Ezra 8:22

~Life Guardian~

The Lord is our life, so why should we worry about evil and harm. We have such a wonderful Lord who really cares for us. No harm can come our way unless He permits it. Where Christ is there can be no evil. We abide in Him and He in us, so evil can come near unless He permits it. Or life is hidden in Christ. When we abide in Him, He guards us. Col. 3: 3 says, "Our life is hid with Christ in God." Christ is in intimate relation with God. God knows all things. Our life is stored up in Him. We have the greatest of care for God is our Heavenly Father. For we walk by faith and not by sight. 2 Cor. 5:7

It may seem as if we are forsaken, but it is for a brief time. Isaiah 54:7 says: For a small moment have I forsaken thee: but with great mercies will I gather thee. In everlasting kindness will He have mercy. He is guardian of our soul.

Paul on Call

1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

8- Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the un-searchable riches of Christ -Ephesians 3:1-3-8

Paul was a prisoner of Rome, but as far as he was concerned, he was a prisoner of Jesus Christ, that is the one he was really bound to. "A prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles." The reason why Paul was persecuted and the reason why Paul was in prison is because he was insisting that the Gentiles could be saved by their believing in Jesus Christ, and this upset the Jews, who felt that the Gentiles could only be saved by becoming Jews. Paul said, "If I didn't preach this then the persecution would cease. They wouldn't have anything against me anymore." But Paul stood by that message of God's grace that had been given to him.
Paul's was delighted that God had given him this glorious ministry, the lesser than the least of all of the saints. The privilege given that I should be able to share the un-searchable riches of Christ, impart them unto the Gentiles." "What a privilege," Paul said. This is the opinion of a one who has truly been called of God and really had a confirmation with Jesus Christ.

We should count it a privilege today to tell the good news of Jesus.

Ready to Suffer and die for Jesus

Why do ye weep and break my heart

Bind me with fetters and leave me to die

 ~~ Finances ~~

Isaiah 55:2  ...Why do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which satisfies not?

Why spend money on what is not bead, and your labor on what does not satisfy.

God gives us many things in life to enjoy.  We should not be careless with its value, even if we do not have as much as we desire.  It is good to have financial understanding on how to spend our money thoughtfully.  After all we do not need everything we see.  Instead we need God's guidance.  he really does care about the smallest of our lives details..  God wants us to help others and use wisdom in spending money.  When we are selfish, God can not bless us.  This should be important to the Christian life.  Make wise investments and ask God to help you .  If you have problems in this area with your money, He will help you.

BE A FRIEND

Bear one another's burdens,
And so fulfill the law of Christ.

Rejoice with those who rejoice,
And weep with those who weep.

Confess your trespasses to one another,
And pray for one another,
That you may be healed.

~Fear God~

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. -Eccles. 12:13

One of the major themes of the Bible is to fear God. When we fear God we will automatically turn to Him in awe. We will reverence Him and keep His commandments. We will serve Him in purity and shun evil. We will not worship anything else in His universe, but His commandments will be our goal because we love Him. Jesus summed up the commandments in one, when He said, "Love the Lord your God and your neighbor as yourself. Matt. 22

Keeping and obeying God's commandments makes us whole and complete. Life is now worth living and we have a good relationship with God. At the great judgment, God will judge all our works so death is not the end. Live life on earth in the faith, and with the eternal view of God's value, and then at that great judgment, He will be pleased.

~Waters of Marah~

22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.
24 And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
25 And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,
26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
27 And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters. -Exodus 15: 22-27

The waters of Mirah were bitter. The children of Israel could not drink of it. They murmured and complained. Moses cried to God for help. Moses was told to cast a tree into the waters and then they were made sweet. If the people would listen to the voice of God and keep His commandments.

Christ sweetens the bitter experiences of His church with His presence. When in their lost condition they were drinking the bitter waters of sin, Christ appeared – on a tree! – in order to sweeten their lives by healing them and enabling them to live for righteousness (1 Peter 2:24). And His appearance on other occasions has sweetened their bitter waters of looming disaster (Matthew 14:24-32), hateful enemies (John 20:19f), murderous plots against themselves (Acts 23:11), and in all other bitter waters. How sweet are Marah's bitter waters when Christ appears!

~Children of Light~

But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.1 Thessalonians 5:4-6

This morning as I read this passage, I was inspired. We as the children of God are looking forward to the "Day of the Lord". It will not over take us as the non-Christian. It will come unexpectedly for them. Christians should not be spiritual asleep, but watching. The sinner should be motivated to repent and accept God's forgiveness for their sins. Those not walking in the Spirit will not be ready for that great day

The believer should die daily to the things of the world and live for Christ. We are not in darkness so that this day should catch us unaware. Christians should place their faith in Christ and love one another. We have the hope of salvation. We have everything to look forward to as we are the "Children of Light" and are not caught un-aware.

Humble spirit versus Proud Spirit

The Bragging Pharisee

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalts himself shall be abased; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted. -Luke 18

Once two men entered the temple. They went down to pray  scriptures says. Now one man had pretty words. Very long and nicely said. He prayed and bragged:

I do not pray with sinners Lord

I am not like other men

I am not an extortion

I do not obtain money or other things of value

by the abuse of one's office or authority.

I'm not unjust, I am always fair and do justice

I'm not an adulterer and

I'm certainly not like this publican

I fast twice a week and pay my tithes

Oh Lord now you I seek

The Pharisee loved society and trusted in themselves you see. It seemed he had an (I problem) Very righteous and despised others He seemed to think God should be grateful to him for his commitment. He was proud of his fasting and tithing.

THE PUBLICAN

Now the Publican stood off to himself

So humbly and bowed his eyes

Not even a look toward Heaven

He smote his breast and cried

God be merciful to me a sinner

This man was reconciled

With atoning Blood of Jesus

~Whitewashed~

Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law? -Acts: 23:3

White wash is a thin paint used to make something dirty look clean.

Ananias was strongly rebuked after his dirty behavior. Paul rebuking him did not defend himself. Paul did not realize that Ananias was the high priest. Maybe he did not have on his priestly robe, but normal clothes, or maybe he wasn't sitting in his usual place. Whatever the reason, Paul clearly gave him the right opportunity to defend God's purpose. Paul ignorantly said something contrary to the law but he had God on his side. Ananias really deserved this rebuke. Ananias was using someone else to do his dirty work. We cannot cover up our sins. God sees us just as we are. He knows everything about our sinful lives. God judges every secret sins so be sure your sin will find you out.

He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD. proverbs 17:15

If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.
And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number. -Deut. 25:1-2 Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools. -Proverbs 29:19

But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; -Matthew 10:17

But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. Mark 13:9

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. -Acts 5:40

And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee: Acts 22:19

And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities. -Acts 26:11

Wings of Love

How excellent is thy loving kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. Ps. 36:7

Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings, Psalm 17:8
And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings.

Wings of Love

Our great God has wings of Love

We are as the apple of His eye

He rides upon wings of wind

I trust in the cover of His wings

As wings of a dove covered with silver

Our great God has wings of Love

Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.
Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! Luije 13:34

~Meditating On God's Word~

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth;
but thou shalt meditate therein day and night,
that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:
for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous,
and then thou shalt have good success.
-Joshua 1: 8

My meditation of him shall be sweet:

I will be glad in the LORD. Psalm 104:34

Wait On God

I will wait for God of my salvation: Micah 7:7

Eagerly wait for the soft footsteps of Jesus to approach the door of your soul. Much needed strength comes with His coming. Close contact with the Savior lets us look into His blessed face and gain strength enough to raise above all the weakness and misunderstanding that life sometimes bring. Look to Him and tarry long in His wonderful presence.

All creation waits and depends upon the blessed Creator for birth, life and sustenance and the Sovereign One controls even death. Expect God to meet your needs and deliver you from your troubles. Receive strength and instructions for your journey Wait until you know His ways. It is a foolish thing for us to not wait upon Him. Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength and not faint. _Isaiah 40: 31

Pearl of Great Price

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hides, and for joy thereof goes and sells all that he hath, and buys that field.
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. -Matthew 13: 44-46

The pearl oyster is found in the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea. Its shell is the "mother of pearl," which is of great value for ornamental purposes (1 Timothy 2:9; Revelation 17:4). Each shell contains eight or ten pearls of various sizes.

Are you searching for something that will bring real true happiness?  Most people are it seems. When we find the Pearl of Great Price, we then have everlasting joy, peace and happiness.

Jesus is that Pearl and He is worth more than all other riches of the whole world.. Jesus brings more meaning to life and happiness among all of life's burdens.

When we find a real treasure that is more valuable than all the world's riches, we want others to know about it. Our treasure that is more valuable than all the world's riches is Jesus. We may search deep into the oceans' depth for great treasures, but Jesus is the greatest discovery one will ever find.

The Pearl

Jesus the Pearl of great price

Jesus is ever so nice

At last I found a treasure

Far beyond worldly measure

Now my searching is ore

I found the Pearl I was looking for

My treasure is Jesus Christ

WALKING WITH THE LORD

.... Come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord. -Isaiah 2:5

We are on a walk each day of our life when we walk with God. Daily God leads us. Come ye, let us walk in the light of the Lord for it is a good way. Once we walked in darkness where we fail and stumbled. But now we walk in the Light and the Blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. Daily we grow in grace as we redeem the time of this evil age.

On our way to Heaven we have a song in our hearts for Jesus and give thanks to God in the Name of Jesus. Daily we strive to be like Christ and have His mind.

Now Satan doesn't like it, because we walk with the King, but we have power over him. He is defeated in Jesus Name! He sends out arrows of poison and hate, and tries to harm us. It grieves him because we walk with Christ each day. Nevertheless we continue on the Heavenly City of God. It is a good way, so daily we ask for the old paths and walk there in because it is the way we find rest for our souls. Jeremiah 6: 16

THE CHRISTIAN WALK

A walk of love, is the Christian walk

It is a walk of hope and light

For with the Lord we talk

A worthy way is the Christian walk

We reach for this high calling

Let the world mock

A walk of joy, is the Christian walk

Sweet Fellowship divine

So we will never balk

OUR CONTINUING JOURNEY

For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. -Heb 13:14

God has ordained that we should walk in the good way. Now there is a way that seems right but the end thereof is the way of death. Christians should be careful to avoid that path of destruction. We do good to walk in the Light where we have fellowship on the journey. It is a way of love and our eyes are enlightened. We know the hope of His calling and the riches of His glory. It is the inheritance of the saints.

We have so much to look forward to, so it is unthinkable to turn back to the way of sin and darkness. We see a light at the end of the tunnel. We are not in darkness, but children of Light. Our journey sometimes takes us on dangerous grounds and we often walk through the fire, but we fear not, because we have someone walking with us in the midst of the fire. That someone is Jesus, the Son of God. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. -Psalm 23:4 We are not defeated so let us press on to the goal. Let us be fruitful in every good work and increase in knowledge of God. Col. 1:10

Children of Light

We walk in darkness no more

We are God's Children of Light!

Marching onward to Heaven's shore

The way is getting very bright

There is a light now shining forth

This must be our pathway home

Seen from God's Holy Portals North

The shining, Heavenly dome

We are God's Children of Light

Called to our new Heaven's home </
