Follow,
Yes Lord, I want to follow where so ever You may gently lead. There may be some rugged, stormy ways but we can be all
that we were intended to be. What a blessing to follow Jesus!
Peter and James left all and followed Him. They knew straight
ahead were many blessings.
On
we go. Our steps may falterer, but will not slip, when we
choose to follow Jesus. The Bible says straight is the way and
narrow the gate and few be that find it. There is a way that seems
right but the end there of is the way of death. We do not want
that path. He lifts us up out of the deep miry pits of sin.
Lo,
I am with you always, even unto the end. We will not be alone
on the journey home. Jesus is with us. The way may often times be
rough and we may have to stop and pray, but we can make it with
Jesus as our Captain. Now God himself and our Father, and our
Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you. -1 Thessalonians. 3:11
Looking
straight ahead, we will find pure joy. Blessings are strewn all
along the way. This path that leads home is straight and
narrow, and has light ahead. What joy it is in following with
Jesus holding our hand. Soon, the pearly gates will open wide, and
we will enter. Make straight paths for your feet Heb. 12:13
Only
the pure in heart will see Jesus. Everyone doesn't have a pure
heart. Many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of
whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. Time is getting
short, and Jesus' coming is very soon, so one must get on the
right path to have eternal life. When one follows Christ they will
not have to run and hide or cry out for the rocks and mountains to
fall upon them and hide them from the face of Jesus.
When
we follow Jesus. We know where we are headed. We are going
straight to our heavenly home to be with Jesus. Look close, as we
near the shore. Soon we will see the lights of home. He the pearly
gate will open, so that we may enter in. Look straight ahead, and
get on the right path that leads home.

The
Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed by thy Name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.

In
the Valleys
Sometimes life seems hard to bear,
Full of sorrow, trouble and woe
It's then I have to remember
That it's in the valleys I grow.
If I always stayed on the mountain top
And never experienced pain,
I would never appreciate God's love
And would be living in vain.
I have so much to learn
And my growth is very slow,
Sometimes I need the mountain tops,
But it's in the valleys I grow.
I do not always understand
Why things happen as they do,
But I am very sure of one thing.
My Lord will see me through.
My little valleys are nothing
When I picture Christ on the cross
He went through the valley of death;
His victory was Satan's loss.
Forgive me Lord, for complaining
When I'm feeling so very low.
Just give me a gentle reminder
That it's in the valleys I grow.
Continue to strengthen me, Lord
And use my life each day
To share your love with others
And help them find their way.
Thank you for valleys, Lord
For this one thing I know
The mountain tops are glorious
But it's in the valleys I grow!
