Admiring the beauty of a flower is a kind of gratitude to the flower itself, and a personal love for its delicate form and color.  gently touching a flower and delighting in it draws one close to the heart of God.

Many of these flowers were grown at our old home. Our present yards are smaller and we do not plant as many as we did. Thank goodness for pictures.  The memories are always fresh.

Things to Do If You Are a Flower

Be a wonderful color, like purplish pink.
Stay out in the rain.
Understand what the wind says.
Dance to its rhythms.
Grow toward the sun.
Smell good.
Give bees honey.
Count every star.
Be beautiful.

Count your garden by the flowers,
never by the leaves that fall.
