Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. -Psalm 42: 5 It is good that we have hope. Without it life would be unbearable. Job thought all hope was gone, but he did not give up. His friends and family urged him to forsake God, but Job clung to his Hope. God's Word says that --- He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree. Job 19: 10 O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. -Psalm 42: 11 And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee. -Psalm 39: 7 The Psalmist David declared that his only Hope was in the Lord. Life is uncertain but death is sure. Praise is good, while waiting for God. But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more. -Psalm 71:14 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. Lamentations 3: 26 It is good that we do have hope and salvation as a surety. Even in youth we have hope. David said: For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth. -Psalm 71:5 He trusted in God always. Young people have hope when they wait on God to help them in daily struggles. We all have hope and --Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. - Psalm 16: 9 If in this life only we have hope in Christ,
we are of all men most miserable. -1 Corinthians 15: 19 Be sure, ©04/12/2007 Brenda A. |
May I fear the LORD, and serve You Lord, in truth with all my heart: for I consider how great things You have done for me.
