I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou,

LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

to eat the bread of sorrows:

Dear Lord,

It's been a long day

Give me rest I pray

My body is tired. I need rest

Perfect peace within my breast

I now lay down in peace

Lord I now need sleep

Sleep, soul sleep

Dear Lord,

In Your Word I read

The Lord will keep, it said

The righteous can sleep in peace

And all their worries can cease

Be at peace and in safety dwell

This makes my heart swell

Sleep, soul sleep
