~Power To Follow God Where He May Lead

Power From God

~~Power~~

Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. -Ephesians 3:7

Power

Power is given to us to minister.. It is a gift.  By His power we minister the un-searchable riches of Christ. We are not worthy of God's power His grace has made us worthy.

Often one neglects the Word of God, which is a great storehouse of power.  Obedience to the Word makes one stable in God. Then we have power. Some only have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. We should abstain from these.

Worldly ways can lead one astray. We need more power of God in our lives to keep us clean and pure..  Such power comes when one yields himself completely to God. Come out from among the world and be separated.

Every Christian needs power to do God's work. The ones gathered in the Upper room received power on the day of Pentecost. They tarried with God until the power came. Jesus has all power in Heaven and earth. Power to come to our rescue. Power to makes us a better witness. Power to give eternal life. John 17:2

Recipients of God’s righteousness gain heaven and a reward. He will share with us riches of His glory. God's great heroes had mighty power

We have power to overcome today.

This is one gift that cannot be bought with money. "And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Acts 8: 19-20"

Do you want Power to follow Him?

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed by thy Name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen

Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. - -Matthew 11: 28

The greatest invitation in all the world is found in this verse.  To think that God the Creator of the universe, welcomes me to come to Him is the joy of my life. He invites all to come to Him and find rest in spirit and soul. Take his yolk of fellowship, and become His disciple.  There is so much to learn about Jesus.  He is meek and lowly.  He will take all your cares and bear them for you. We no longer have to carry our load of sin, for He is the burden bearer. Give Him a try and find out for yourself.

Give Jesus A Try

Are you feeling kindly lonely
Let Him be your one and only

Are you down hearted and sad
Let Him make you glad

Are you longing for a true friend
Let Him, all your cares mend

He loves you so much
He has a very special touch

Why not give Jesus a try.

He is standing nearby

Waiting, on you

To start life anew

~Greatness of God  -The Great, the Holy, and the High! ~

The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwells on high?

Psalm 113:4,5

One cannot even begin to fathom the greatness of God. His ways are so much higher than our ways. He is high and lifted up. The nations are but a drop in the bucket compared to His greatness. On past the Milky Way there lie His eternal glories. There His train fills the temple and His glory shines.

Consider the stars, set in their place. To us they are so small, but they are huge and magnificent, and give glory to God who made them this great God who made the sun, moon and stars, lives in my soul.
