Surely every man walks about like a shadow; Surely they busy themselves in vain; He heaps up riches, And does not know who will gather them Ps. 39:6

For all these riches which God has taken from our father are really ours and our children's; now then, whatever God has said to you, do it." Gen. 31:16

 Riches of the World

There is nothing in this world that can compare to God's riches. If we gain the whole world and lose our soul, what profit is there.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:19.  If we study God's Word, and let Him have first place in our life, our needs will then be supplied. It is not always money that satisfies, but peace, joy and happiness

The end of all things is at hand and we should be sober, and watch with prayer. What would it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul. Money does not bring us happiness.  Only Jesus can do that. We can be poor as a beggar, but rich as a King with Jesus. He that trusts in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch. Proverbs 11: 28

When our soul and spirit is rich in knowledge of God's Word and Power, we have riches untold, that money cannot buy. Why do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which satisfies not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Isaiah 55:2

When we use our money to help the poor and missionaries, we will be blessed beyond measure.  It may not always be in money, but God will recompense us in health or happiness or however He chooses. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3: 11

The richest person is a pauper at times compared to the one with a satisfied mind. In Him we have everything. The Lord is my Shepherd.  I shall not want.  Psalm 23   For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6: 10
