Rose Of Sharon

I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. Song of Solomon 2:1

His fragrance brings an aroma like nothing else into our lives. Jesus is His Name and the mention of it brings comfort and joy to our lives. Thy name is as ointment poured forth. I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock. Song of Solomon 5:5

We are to walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling Savor. Ephesians 5:2; who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10: 38

I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys. As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters. (Song of Solomon 1:2-3; The Rose of Sharon is one gift, no one can take from us As the Lily of the Valleys. Unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; -Malachi 4: 2

Jesus is most precious to our lives, especially in the hard times. Unto you therefore which believe He is precious. (1 Peter 2:7) He is our precious cornerstone, our precious sacrifice, our precious Savior, and the precious object of our faith. 1 Peter 2:6 and 1:18-19. When we travel through the valley of the shadows of death, fresh billows of His love comes over us. Our sorrow and losses are just blessings sent in disguise

Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into Thy lips: therefore God hath blessed Thee forever. Psalms 45:1-2

Following Jesus, the Rose of Sharon where ever He leads will bring comfort that only our God can give. He is the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.

I am totally consumed by His love. There is no other one like Him, the Sweet Rose of Sharon. I have been consumed by Him since youth, but as time progress, our love grows sweeter and I depend on Him more now than ever before. I was inspired to write the following poem, about His love.

Rose of Sharon

As I gaze upon your glory
Drinking in Your beauty rare
Sweet Rose of Sharon
Thou art so fair

As the lily among the thorns
Blossom in my soul
Sweet Rose of Sharon
You, my heart have stole

Sweet love at the banqueting house
Spread out your banner of love
Oh Sweet Rose of Sharon
Embrace my soul, Sweet Holy Dove

Thy countenance is comely
Sweet is thy voice,
Oh, my Sweet Rose of Sharon
Until day break, you are my choice

Comfort me with thy Love
Until the shadows flee
Oh My Sweet Rose of Sharon
I am totally consumed by Thee
