Memorial to Stanley

MEMORIES OF STANLEY

In Memory of Our Son, Granddad, Husband, Father-in-law, Brother, and Uncle.

We miss your gentle, and kind spirit. Your leaving us has left a hole in our hearts.

 Memories of Stanley

Swirling memories arise in our hearts when we think of you Stanley. It does not seem right that you had to leave us. We do not understand the reason why your life had to end here on earth. The angels came to carry you home on that day in Dec. 8, 2007. We miss you more than words can ever say. I wish I could wake up and find it was a dream.

T
houghts of yesterday's joys of life linger in our hearts. Thoughts about the good days we had with you while you were here with us. We miss you so much Stanley. You always seemed to know how to brighten our days and comfort us. You were a wonderful person and a blessing to all who met you. We will always remember you.

A
ccounts were all settled with God and you tried to do your best in life. You are going to be greatly missed by family, friends, and church, but we rest knowing you are in the Lord's care. You were always there when needed. Stanley, there will remain an empty spot in our heart for you.

Numerous were the days that we enjoyed together and we never thought about you having to leave us Stanley. There was never a thought of you being the first of us to go. Remembering growing up with you is a blessing that I will always treasure. Thanks for all the precious memories you gave us. I will always treasure the times we spend together.

Lovely so lovely are thoughts of you Stanley. Time can never erase these from our hearts.
When we think of the times we spent together in days gone by, we are saddened. We used to have so much fun together. We worked in the garden, played ball, and did so many things together. I will treasure all these times. I know you are in a much better place now.

E
nriched are we because God gave you to live among us Stanley. I miss you more and more as the days go by. You touched so many while living here. I know you are happy up there in Heaven, probably picking a shinny new guitar, and strolling over Heaven with our friends and loved ones gone on, but you are still our brother, son, father, husband and grandfather.

Yesterdays are gone. We press on, knowing God never makes a mistake. As you bask in the love of Jesus our Lord, remember we will join you someday soon and we will never part any more. We cannot wait to see you again. Stanley, you are always in our hearts. You are always on our minds. We will never forget you. Rest in peace

We love you and always will.
You left us so suddenly

We will be together again soon
Loving you always
Your ever loving family

In memory of Stanley Wayne Crocker

This photo was taken one Sunday evening while visiting with his parents. We like to think of him still living in our hearts. He was loved very much

Stanley lives on in our hearts and will be missed very much, by the ones who love him. He was one of a kind and always willing to lend a helping hand.  Anyone who knew Stanley can agree that he had the best personality one could have. Without a doubt, he was a great son, brother, husband, grandfather, uncle and friend. What stood out most was his sense of humor. He had the great ability to make you smile not matter how down you were. He was a genuinely happy person. Stanley, no matter where you are, I know you are making people happy, making people smile. You will truly be missed by all.

Little did we know that this was Stanley's last day with us here on earth. He had just killed an eight point deer, the morning of his death. He has now gone on to be with our Lord and Savior.

He was born in Banks County Ga. and grew up around that area. He later married Jeanette Duncan and they have made their  home in Lula all the years of their married life. There they built their own home on a big lot. Stanley loved to do yard and garden work. He also loved and owned horses.

His family was his delight. He was always there to help them with their projects and keeping the vehicles repaired. He worked at various other jobs outside of his construction work.

Missing You

There's a sad ache in our hearts today

You have left us and gone away

We try to carry on, although it's sometime grim

We give way and cast it all on Him

Jesus too had loved ones to die

So He knows and hears each sad sigh

Gift of Memory

One gift, above all others
God gives to us to treasure
One that knows no time, no place
And one gold cannot measure

The precious, poignant tender gift
Of Memory...that will keep
On dear ones ever in our hearts
Although God gives them sleep

It brings back long remembered things
A song, a word, a smile
And the world's a better place
...because
We had them for awhile

Wondering

Today I stood by your gravesite

And wondered why you had to die

I wondered if you knew

That I had come to view

Your gravesite of flowers

Built up like towers

O I know if you could speak

You'd say, "Please do not weep"

I've gone to be with Jesus our Lord

I'm so happy now, and my battle is won

I'm living in a much better place

It's free to all who are saved by grace

I'll be waiting for you to join me

We will live together through eternity

Angels of Mercy

We need you now

Come and hold our hand

Help us in wearisome times

To know that You are near

Send your spirit of love

To guide our hearts

To Jesus
