Watchman
of the Night- Ezekiel 3; 17
17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel:
therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. The Lord told the prophet he had appointed him a watchman to the house of Israel. If we warn the wicked, we are not chargeable with their ruin. He was to give timely warning of danger to his people where none was suspected. Habakkuk (Hab. 2:1) speaks of standing upon his "watch," but it was only in order to be on the lookout for the manifestation of God's power (so Isa. 52:8; 62:6); not as Ezekiel, to act as a watchman to others.
2 Chronicles 19:10 "Whenever any dispute comes to you from your brethren who live in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you shall warn them so that they may not be guilty before the LORD, and wrath may not come on you and your brethren. Thus you shall do and you will not be guilty.

Isaiah 52:8 Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices, They shout joyfully together; For they will see with their own eyes When the LORD restores Zion.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Isaiah 56:10 His watchmen are blind, All of them know nothing. All of them are mute dogs unable to bark, Dreamers lying down, who love to slumber;
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Isaiah 58:1 "Cry loudly, do not hold back; Raise your voice like a trumpet, And declare to My people their transgression And to the house of Jacob their sins.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Isaiah 62:6 On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the LORD, take no rest for yourselves;
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jeremiah 6:17 "And I set watchmen over you, saying, 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But they said, 'We will not listen.'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ezekiel 33:7 "Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth and give them warning from Me.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Habakkuk 2:1 I will stand on my guard post And station myself on the rampart; And I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, And how I may reply when I am reproved.

WATCHMAN - Ezekiel 3: 17
We can rejoice and be glad that we live in this generation.
We can help to stand in the gap. Like Jesus who lives forever daily
interceding before the Throne of God on our behalf, Every person on
earth is called to take their place on the wall and stand in the gap,
to defend against satanic armies of satanic darkness. which strive
earnestly to overwhelm our next generation
Just as Christ came in the flesh and gave Himself so as to identify
with mortal man and save him, so the watchman takes their place to
become a wall of strength around those for whom they have been called
to give of them self. There God causes them to hear the word from his
mouth and opens their mouth to give His word to their people -- see
Ezekiel. 3: 17.
We are equipped for strength against the enemy of our souls. Now that
you read this the fact is that you have been created, called,
anointed, and destined for spiritual greatness in such times as we are
now in. No less that the other great prophets and workers of God who
are now gone o n, you are born go godly significance. Your
intercession and intervention can save your whole house and bring
forth an entire generation! Let me exhort you to respond. Others
have presented themselves in the hour of destiny. but we can be like
Esther who said, "If I perish, I perish, but I have not shrieked
from God's appointment for me" See Esther 4: 16
As God said to His watchman Ezekiel, "Son of man, stand on
your feet, and I will speak to you: Ezekiel 2: 1), so He speaks
to us today. Forget yesterday, take today as seated with Christ in the
heavens through the victory we have in His blood, and cast your vision
upon the horizon of your future and glorious call and reward in God.
Arise,!
awake, watchman; and lift up your voice in strength.
