This is the platform - modified from my S-scale layout. You can see the original 7X2 platform in front with the additions on the wall side and far end. The platform now is 3 feet by 7'9". I kept it under eight feet so I could store it vertically in a room with eight foot ceilings. The platform weight is around twenty pounds.
The panorama on the wall is what I used as backdrop on my S-scale switching layout. Now it's just a long picture - not useful for the N scale layout.
