PROJECT SCOPE
We will discuss your project by telephone, e-mail, and/or face-to-face meeting to clearly define your requirements. If you already have specifications developed, I will review them and make recommendations as required.
ESTIMATE
After the Project Scope is clearly defined and understood, I will provide you with a detailed estimate of the project. It is not unusual to go through this process more than once to arrive at a solution that fits within your short-term budget and many times a project is divided into manageable phases.
PROJECT AGREEMENT
Upon arriving at an acceptable Project Scope and Estimate, we will execute a Project Agreement.
DESIGN & SPECIFICATION
As defined by the Project Scope, we will discuss, and I will prepare, all documentation necessary to define the database structure and functional specifications of the applications.
DELIVERABLES
The various components of the database and applications will be developed and delivered according to the Project Schedule. During development, frequent communications and/or meetings are usually required and partially developed applications may be distributed for evaluation and feedback.
TESTING
Prior to deployment of your database and applications, a Test Period is usually determined to assure proper application functionality and debugging.
DEPLOYMENT & IMPLEMENTATION
After a successful Test Period, your database will be deployed, applications are distributed and implemented.
DOCUMENTATION
Any documentation defined in the Project Scope will be prepared.
TRAINING & SUPPORT
Any training and support defined in the Project Scope will be provided.
