ADAMS STAFF
Nanette Adams Galvin
Nanette has been the director of
the Adams School of Dance in Belleville for 15 years. She has been a teacher of dance and acrobatics for over 25
years. She has trained since early
childhood with her mother and staff.
Summers she has studied with noted artists across the United
States. Nanette has been a member of
local civic ballet companies, has judged various dance competitions and has
taught and judged auditions for St. Louis Dance Teachers Association Chapter
#21 Dance Masters of America. She is
also an active member of D.M.A. chapter #21.
Denise Adams Dodd
Denise has been a teacher of
dance for over 30 years. She has
studied with her mother and staff, including Michael Simms and Stanley Herbert
of St. Louis, American Ballet Theatre, Luigi's of New York, & Gus
Giordano's in Chicago. She has also
performed with the Prelude Civic Ballet Co., & Soloed with SIU Dance
Theatre. Denise has enjoyed performing
but her love is teaching and children.
Denise moved to Belleville from the Chicago area where she owned and
operated "The Dance Studio" for 7 years.
Paula Miller
Paula has been a teacher of
Dance and Pom Pon for over 20 years.
She has trained since early childhood with the Adams staff & has
also studied with noted artists across the U.S. Paula choreographed for Pom squads before becoming a teacher for
Adams. Paula has also judged various
talent competitions across the U.S.
Camie Adams Winner
Teacher of Dance and Acrobatics,
she has trained since early childhood.
Camie is a 4th generation dancer, and teacher with the Adams
family! She has won numerous awards in
dance and acrobatics. She has traveled
all over the United States and Canada to train with noted artists. She graduated in May from the University of
Missouri-Columbia where she was a Mizzou cheerleader, a member of Repertory
Arts Movement dance company, and a dance teacher at Columbia Dance Studio. Camie is very excited to be back home and
teaching at the studio.
Zach Samson
Teacher of Dance and Acrobatics,
Zach, has been a student with Adams for 13 years. He has excelled in Dance and Acrobatics, held the title of Master
Dance of St. Louis, and received a scholarship to Chicago Multicultural Center
for Dance. Zach is entering his senior year at Altoff High School where he has
performed in many musicals. Next year
he plans to attend Northwestern University in Chicago.
