2008: Patrick has qualified for and will represent
Team USA at the short course duathlon World Championships, to be held in Rimini,
Italy on September 8th. He also qualified to represent Team USA
for the Long Course event, to be held in Geel, Belgium on August
8th, by placing 7th overall at the prestegious Auburn International Duathlon on May 18th where he and his wife were two
of the featured athletes. The race was contested in over 100
degree heat and Pat finished in a time of 4:54:05. It's a National
Championship race and billed as the World's most difficult Tri.
This spring he's been racing for Team Helen's, a local pro road cycling team based out of
Santa Monica, CA.
2007:
Patrick teamed with Sean Kammann to race in Europe. They were
accepted into the prestigious Tour Trans Alps
race in June. It was a 7-day stage road race across the Alps
that covered almost 900 kilometers with nearly 19,000 meters
of altitude, and went from Germany, through Austria and ended
in Italy. The race only accepts 500 two-person teams with half
being selected by lottery. The first 250 spots were filled within
3 minutes of the opening day, and an additional 1000 teams had
signed on to the waiting list after only10 minutes. Check out

Adventure Racing: The veteran team of racers, collectively, have
in excess of 50 years racing experience, and have established
themselves as experts in the featured disciplines of kayaking,
mountain biking, running, navigation, orienteering, repelling,
and coasteering. They rely on experience, strength, and team
cohesiveness to keep themselves at the forefront of their rapidly
growing sport while maintaining themselves as ambassadors to
their sponsors.They will compete in varied races across the country
to round out their schedule and test themselves against the best
competition on different stages in their ongoing effort to promote
