| This is a real course rendition on which I am using (for me) a new technique. I am taking screenshots from TerraServer and MapQuest images and resizing these images to the proper scale. I enhance the fairways and bunkers by painting in solid colors in the appropriate places, then convert the image to .pcx format and import it into the course file using JNSEdit. The layout is pretty rough at first; I have to use the designer to fill in the proper textures. This technique allows me to render accurate fairways and bunkers, although I'm still on my own for the elevations. | |

This is a fictitious course set in the hills of southern
Missouri. This course began as my first JNUG course. I constantly refined
the course over a period of several years and have now converted it
for JNSE. I have given the course a new pallette and new objects, as
well as many refinements to the layout. I need to finish object placement
and playtest before release.
