May 18 – The Toads trade their 2012 Round 41 pick to the Desert Sox for the first pick in the May Supplemental, a Round 39.

April 16 – The Wings send a 2013 Round 38 pick to the Desert for the Sox' 2012 Round 38.

February 25 – In an attempt to avoid the dreaded AAA innings, the Kings deal a 2013 Round 24 to the Desert Sox for two 2012 picks, Team 5's Round 29 and Team 2's Round 30.

February 14 – Another pick deal for West Valley, as the Desert Sox receive 2013 Round 19 and 33 (rookie) picks from the Wings for a return of their own Round 20 and the Sox' Round 21.

February 13 – More trades today for Back to Big & Tall and West Valley. B2B&T gets SS Jhonny Peralta and OF Brennan Boesch from the Kings for OF Nelson Cruz and a Round 22 pick. Then B2B&T trades 2013 Round 18 and 32 picks to the Desert Sox for their Round 18.

The Sox aren't done making pick deals with that one, either. They deal a Round 19 pick to the Corporate Raiders for the Raiders' 2013 Round 18, then send away their Round 20 to B2B&T for 2013 Round 20 and 37 picks.

February 8 – An old-fashioned one-for-one player deal today, as the Sox send one of their many catchers, Travis D'Arnaud, to the I.C. Kernels for just-drafted CF Colby Rasmus.

February 7 – The draft-day trades begin, as the Kings deal their Round 14 for the Sox's Round 15 and Team 8's Round 19.

Then the Sox complete a big pick deal with the Mighty G-Men, sending the third pick in the draft (Team 8's Round 14) for a bushel-basket of picks (2012 Rounds 16, 18, and 41, and 2013 Rounds 14, 19, 25, and 33.

Still another pick deal gets donw for the young Desert Sox, as they send their Round 16 pick to the B&Ts for 2013 Round 15 and 31 picks.

February 1 – Moe's Tavern announces the acquisition of Nick Markakis from the IC Kernels in exchange for Moe's 2012 Round 17 draft pick.

Soon after, the Kings make a last-minute NL crossover slot pick-up, sending a Round 30 pick to the Whoopee.

January 31 – Still more SCIL trades, with the Wings sending their last rookie slot to the Raiders for a Round 26 pick.

January 30 – A huge day of trades in SCIL, the biggest in years...

Former co-owners complete deal! After having discussions with three owners deep into the night, the Kings have sent C Alex Avila to Macon. In return, the Kings pick up rehabbing P Clay Buchholz.

Later, the Desert Sox make a mega-pick deal with Back to Big & Tall: The Sox pick up Team 7's Round 41, plus 2013 Round 25, 33, 34, and 35 picks. Meanwhile, B2B&T get some of their own picks back, Rounds 20, 24, and 36.

Still later, the Sox send a Round 13 regular protection slot to the Asheville Wings for Round 25 (soph) and round 33 (rookie) slots.

Finally, the Toads pick up B2B&T's Round 13 protection slot in exchange for a Waiver draft pick and OF Adam Jones.

January 28 – The first trade of the 2012 offseason sees the Desert Sox pick up young 2B Jemile Weeks from the Fat Toads for Team 4's Round 17 pick
