Stated Communication of Desert Council #46.  Walla Walla Masonic Center, Walla Walla, WA, December 3, 2005, at 1:30 PM.

 

Venerable Master Robert Steel called a council of Installed Masters to order at 1:05 PM. B. Louis Peck was given the degree of Installed Sovereign Master by Eugene Alexander, V Mar; B. Glenn Siron, VM; Robert Steele, VSW and Robert Thomsen, V Chap.

 

The council was opened in due form by Sovereign Master Robert E. Steele at 1:35 PM following Kamiakin York Rite College and lunch. Other officers present were Louis Peck, SW; Chuck Chapman, JW; Robert Yingling, SD; John Porter, JD PT; Eugene Alexander, Recorder, PT. 

 

Introductions were waived as all present had been introduced earlier in the York Rite College.

 

Sickness: Ray Stenson continues in a rest home and will remain there. John Hardin is checking on medical help.

 

Checking account August 1, 2005 = $499.40. Dues collected: Life memberships received from J. Robert Yingling, and Les Reynolds, $200.00; Initiation fees from Bill Elkins and John Porter, $50.00; and dues from Louis Peck, Bill Elkins, John Porter , $30.00; for total of $280.00.

Ending Check Balance = $749.40.

M/S/P to pay 1/2 of the total rent for the day = $30.00

Old Business: None

 

New Business: Proposed and elected candidate for Desert Council, John Porter of Walla Walla, was initiated.

Election of Officers: Louis Peck, ISM; Chuck Chapman, SW; Robert Yingling, JW; Eugene Alexander, Recorder;  Bill Elkins, SD and John Porter, JD.

The Officers were installed by ISM Eugene Alexander, ISM Glenn Siron and ISM Robert Thomsen.

 

Papers: none

 

Pin check: All present had pins except the new guys. Pins and rituals will be ordered.

 

Council was closed at 2:30 PM
