17. Kennon⁴ Breazell (Henry³ Brazeal, Henry² Brazeel, Henry¹) reference F12 (F3-10) was born in Virginia August 1753. Date of birth incorrect on Film 445834, Ord. No. 70089 (Salt Lake). Given as 1735, should be 1753. Kennon died January 31, 1858 in Belton, Anderson District, SC.

He married Haskey Griffin about 1787 in North Carolina. Haskey was the daughter of William Griffin and Sara Kirksey. Haskey died about 1787 in North Carolina. Family lived near Belton, S.C. Some of the family are buried in the Dorchester Baptist Church Cemetery or in the Breazeale Family Cemetery there.

Kennon Breazell and Haskey Griffin had the following children:

+ 56 i. Enoch⁵ Breazeale was born December 14, 1788.

57 ii. Aiken Breazeale reference F12A (F12-2) was born April 4, 1790. Aiken died 1859. He married twice. He married Nancy McMillan. He married Louise Pace.

Conflicting evidence states that Aiken was born April 20, 1790 in Chatham Co, NC. If my records are correct, this family lived in Dallas County, AL because the 1830 U.S. Census lists a family with Akin Breazeale as head of household, age about 40 years, his wife Nancy, age about 35, 2 males (10 years old but under 15), 2 females under 5 years, and 1 female (5 years old but under 10). This family lived in the same area as John Blocker Breazeale, Family No. 14, a kinsman of his. In 1845, the will of Abner McMillan was filed listing Nancy McMillan Breazeale, the wife of Akin Breazeale as an heir. This will also listed the children of Susannah (Susan) McMillan Breazeale, wife of John Blocker Breazeale, Family No. 14, as heirs also. If this information is all correct, this family moved back to Belton, S.C. because there is an Akin Breazeale buried in the Breazeale Family Cemetery near Belton, S.C. Then in 1850, the estate of Nancy E. Breazeale was probated and listed her children as heirs -- Newton Breazeale, Abner M. Breazeale, Haskey Breazeale, wife of John G. Dabney, Elizabeth S. Breazeale, Melina Rogers Breazeale, James K. Breazeale, and Margeret A. (M.?) Breazeale.

58 iii. Margaret (Peggy) Breazeale reference F12-3 was born November 30, 1793. Margaret died 1869. She married James Major.

+ 59 iv. Griffin Breazeale was born January 17, 1796.

60 v. Sarah Breazeale reference F12-5 was born in South Carolina August 24, 1798. Sarah died 1863. She married Elijah Pepper.

61 vi. Williamson Breazeale reference F12-6 was born March 14, 1801. Williamson died 1861. He married Nelly Halloway.

62 vii. David Kennon Breazeale reference F12-7 was born in Anderson, Anderson Co, SC October 23, 1804. David died 1863. He married twice. He married Utincy Halloway. He married Mary Rogers.

63 viii. Laura Breazeale reference F12-8 was born July 17, 1807. Laura died 1869. She married David Cox.

+ 64 ix. Matthew Breazeale was born June 27, 1813.
