240. John W.⁸ Adcock (Huldah⁷ Breazeale, Drury Buchman⁶, Drury Woods⁵ Breazell, Drury⁴ Brazeal, Henry³, Henry² Brazeel, Henry¹)⁽⁶⁾ reference F37 (F21-3) was born in Greene Co, AL March 20, 1837. John died January 14, 1895. His body was interred at Ebeneser Cemetery in Zama, Attala Co, MS.

He married twice. He married Rebecca Harrietta Currie. Rebecca was born 1840. Her body was interred at Rattletrap Cemetery in Neshoba Co, MS. He married Martha Bailey Massey. John was the father of one son and five daughters.

John W. Adcock had the following children:

460 i. Mary⁹ Adcock was born August 4, 1871. Mary died February 15, 1938. She married Jessie Ferguson.

+ 462 iii. Irenia "Rena" Adcock was born August 7, 1876.

463 iv. Emma Adcock was born January 1880. Emma died August 24, 1951. She married George Washington Ferguson. George was born January 1, 1867. George died January 7, 1922.

464 v. Leanna Adcock was born September 1881. She married D. Clayton Bunch July 5, 1900.

+ 465 vi. John Wesley Adcock was born March 16, 1882.
