She married Samuel Emmett "Sam" Tew November 30, 1899 in Winston Co, MS. There is evidence to support that this wedding took place in Winston County and Neshoba County, Mississippi. Samuel was born April 18, 1880 in Mississippi. Samuel was the son of William Washington Tew and Louisa C. Breazeale. Samuel died December 1, 1969 in Forest, Scott Co, MS. His body was interred at Mars Hill Cemetery in Winston Co, MS.
