He married Lorene Jordan October 10, 1945 in Philadelphia, Neshoba Co, MS. Lorene was born April 9, 1925 in Philadelphia, Neshoba Co, MS. Lorene was the daughter of Albert Burton Jordan and Fannie Lee Pilgrim. Lorene died June 1, 2000. Her body was interred at Mars Hill Cemetery in Winston Co, MS.
