He married Sara Ann Lemons December 13, 1865 in Grayson Co, TX. Sara was born July 7, 1840 in Illinois. Sara was the daughter of George Washington Lemons and Tarsey Emily Summerlin. Sara died August 13, 1893. Her body was interred at Newport Cemetery in Jack Co, TX.

Henry Newton Breazeale and Sara Ann Lemons had the following children:
