249. Henry Cannon8 Adcock (Cynthia7 Breazeale, Drury Buchman6, Drury Woods5 Breazell, Drury4 Brazeal, Henry3, Henry2 Brazeel, Henry1) was born January 20, 1839.

He married Mary S. Cox January 25, 1862 in Newton Co, MS. Mary was born November 15, 1836 in Alabama. Henry enlisted in the Confederate Army in the 10th Infantry from Neshoba County September 16, 1862. He was injured and sent to the hospital in December 1863. Henry and Mary reared a family of 12 children in the Chunky area of Newton Co, Mississippi before moving to Texas in the late 1800's.

Henry Cannon Adcock and Mary S. Cox had the following children:

child 499 i. Henry9 Adcock. Henry died 1915. His body was interred at Veterans Cemetery in Biloxi, Harrison Co, MS.

child 500 ii. Henrietta Adcock was born in Newton Co, MS 1864.

child 501 iii. William R. Adcock was born in Chunky, Newton Co, MS 1865.

child 502 iv. Cynthia Ann Adcock was born in Chunky, Newton Co, MS 1867. Cynthia died 1867. Her body was interred at Spring Hill Cemetery in Newton Co, MS.

child 503 v. John Rice Adcock was born in Chunky, Newton Co, MS 1868.

child 504 vi. Martha Jane Adcock was born in Chunky, Newton Co, MS 1869. Martha died 1872. Her body was interred at Spring Hill Cemetery in Newton Co, MS.

child 505 vii. Mary E. Adcock was born in Chunky, Newton Co, MS 1871.

child 506 viii. James Willis Adcock was born in Chunky, Newton Co, MS 1872.

child 507 ix. Arrena Adcock was born in Chunky, Newton Co, MS 1875.

child 508 x. Sorrene Adcock was born in Chunky, Newton Co, MS 1875. Sorrene died 1877. Her body was interred at Spring Hill Cemetery in Newton Co, MS.

child 509 xi. Wade W. Adcock was born in Chunky, Newton Co, MS 1877.
