Elizabeth Walker later known as Aunt Betsy moved to Iowa in 1843. In 1845 she married John H. Jones. They traveled via ox team to Oregon arriving in 1852. They died about the same time.

Frank Imel wrote, "I remember this couple. She was a very small woman and smoked a clay pipe. He was a giant of a man and wore a long white beard with a chewing tobacco stain through the middle. I recall they lived near the Imel family."
