Fly-Out Dining Around Pecan Plantation

So, you live in paradise where 100 mph+ transportation is just a few steps beyond, or maybe even inside, the house. What do you do when the urge to dine out strikes? Fly to the restaurant, of course!

Believe it not, there are many fly-out dining destinations in our local area. Neighbors routinely strike out for Fort Worth Spinks Airport, just ten to fifteen minutes' flying time to the northeast, where Cracker Barrel, Chilis, MacDonalds, Outback, and other restaurants lie just a few minutes' walk away. No less than twenty such arrangements are located within a hour of our community.

Flying out to dine as a group injects a party atmosphere into the affair, and shows people places they might not have discovered on their own. Plus, if anyone has a maintenance problem enroute or at the destination, passengers can be accommodated in other planes.

John Purner elevated the notion of the $100 Hamburger to an international phenomenon with his website and resulting books about fly-out dining. All of our eating destinations either have, or will be, included in his site.
