The Curse Ends With Me

 V.1

An Ancient battle rages (deep) inside me

That which began before human history

I don’t know why this has happened to me

Why I must struggle constantly

A horrid curse has been placed on me

God Almighty make them leave me be

 V.2

The more I fight, the more they take

I’m worn down, and my soul, it aches

I wish I could believe that this is fake

But Truth is something no man can make

I feel the Darkness that makes me shake

Now I just laugh when my heart breaks

 Pre Chorus:

My only hope resides in Thee

Till I’m swept up in Your Glory

 (Build music to crescendo)

 Chorus:

I fear I’ll never be completely free

From these demons that keep haunting me

You don’t want to see inside my dreams

Nobody needs to see what I have seen

I don’t deserve to ever have a family

All I know is that this curse must end with me

 (Bridge)

 V.3

God I plead, send me Your angels

To counterstrike them from all angles

Fill me with Light till my soul swells

Your Spirit still within me dwells

Release me from all these tangles

And send these demons back to hell

 Chorus:

Yet I fear I’ll never be completely free

From these demons that keep haunting me

You don’t want to see inside my dreams

Nobody needs to see what I have seen

I don’t deserve to ever have a family

I know too well- this curse must end with me

V.3 (repeat)

God I plead, send me Your angels

To counterstrike them from all angles

Fill me with Light till my soul swells

Your Spirit still within me dwells

Release me from all these tangles

And send these demons back to hell

 Pre Chorus:

All my hope resides in Thee

Only You can make me free

 (Build music to crescendo)

 Chorus: (Repeat 2-3x)

Yet I fear I’ll never be completely free

From these demons that keep haunting me

You don’t want to see inside my dreams

Nobody needs to see what I have seen

I don’t deserve to ever have a family

I know too well- this curse must end with me
