So... now that I'm retired, I have FAR too much free time on my hands!.... To "stay out of trouble", I play the Blues on my guitars and harmonicas, garden, cook (my favorites being vegan dishes such as Thai curries, Mexican, and Italian).... I read, enjoy family, work on living a mindful life, or just cruise along the Columbia River bike trails on my recumbent road bike ....
I love the river trails! Running, walking, or biking... each season is beautiful. Wildlife, from bald eagles to coyotes and deer, always puts life in perspective for me.....
(FYI...For some strange reason, my cat, Bailey, can't tolerate my harmonica. It drives her crazy.... She scrams for cover if I even reach for it.... I think she's probably just having fun acting perverse. I'm sure she secretly LOVES the Blues Harmonica).... She's just such a kidder! .... :-)
....Oh yeah, that's me in the photo....
Pictures of my family ...Since, after all, this is my personal page, here are a few of my favorite photos... I hope you enjoy them... ....

Michael Hawkeye Herman...My favorite Blues Player...The Blues keep me sane (or is that just LESS crazy?)....
Suze Sims...My favorite Blues Singer...What a set of pipes!.... She was awesome at The Untapped Blues Festival :-)
Eva Cassidy (1963-1996)... TRULY the voice of an angel... Her last performance (seen below), her story, and more, are on this site.... Be sure to use the "menu" to hear "Wonderful World", her last song in public....It was so emotional that Chuck Brown, her guitarist, left the stage in tears. Eva Cassidy died two months later from melanoma at the age of 33....
