Worshipped by none, yet revered by all, Fate is the epitome of organized chaos. While destiny is prewritten, it is not predictable, and neither is the goddess that writes it.

According to the draconic legend, the great dragon-god Asgorath, Fate's consort at the time, created the world as a gift to her. Fate eventually turned her affections elsewhere, which led to Asgorath "infesting" the world with mortals. Some people believe that she holds a grudge against mortals, but any attempt to predict the true will of Fate is foolish. Still, since Fate did not bring the mortals to the world, she lacks complete control over them. While her hand is strong, mortals can still slip through her fingers.
