Susan tucked Daire into bed and sighed as she looked down to him. Corwin stood in the doorway watching silently a moment, "Love? Is something on your mind?" Susan quickly tried to cover the obvious emotion she was feeling, "No, I am fine was just a bit tired." He walked to her taking her hands in his and looked into her eyes, "Out with it... what is troubling you?" She looked up at him, a single tear rolled down her cheek as she put her arms around him crying softly into his chest. He wrapped his arms around her gently and nodded, "I thought as much. I want her home with you as well love." She looked up at him tears streaming down her cheeks, "I do not want her to grow up in someone else's care thinking that her mother did not want her.... or worse then that not knowing who I am. Corwin, I miss Isabel so badly. There is an emptyness in my heart where she belongs." Corwin nodded as he held her, "I know love.... believe me I know. One day we will find where BlackHawke's "Master" left her and she will come home. She will not grow up believing anything but that you love her and were willing to do whatever was needed to have her home where she belongs. I will find her and when I do..... she is going to come home with her mother. I owe you this and I owe BlackHawke this as her father." Susan looked up at him, "What if you don't find her?" Corwin moves his hands gently over her back, "Hush now love, I will find her. No matter how long it takes I will find her and see she is back where she belongs." Susan nodded and tried to smile, "Thank you, my husband. For this, and for everything you have given me." Corwin, nodded and led her into their chambers and saw her to bed, "I have preparations to make love.... I will be along in a bit" Susan nodded and Corwin kissed her softly before walking out and heading to his study.

Corwin sat down at the desk and pulled out a quill and several pieces of parchment. He dipped the quill into the inkwell and began to write out several letters folding and sealing each with his signet as he finished. He then began to write another document:

Your help requested........

A great injustice has been done. The child Isabel Hawke was wrongfully taken from her mother, The Lady Susan, some time ago by the demon, Glabrezu. Thus far I have not been able to locate her on my own. Please I beseech you all, if anyone knows of her whereabouts to come forward to do the decent thing and let us bring her home where she belongs. She was saved from the demon and is in this realm yet but where we do not know where. Give this young one the life she deserves to have, in the arms of her mother where both can be whole.

By my hand

Lord Corwin, Prince of Amber

Corwin called in two couriers and handed the letters to one instructing him to whom he should deliver them. The first page bowed and hurried off as Corwin looked to the second, "This is to have copies made of it and be posted everywhere that can be easily seen by as many people as possible....... place the first in Camelot. Go quickly, too much time has passed already." The page hurried off and Corwin rose sighing softly knowing this may all be useless but was not going to give up hope. He looked out to the courtyard as the first rider was off and whispered softly, "Isabel."
