Mom's Tuna Noodle Casserole

bullet8 oz of noodles (half a large bag)
bullet1/2 an onion, chopped
bullet2 cans of tuna, drained (tuna should be packed in water, not oil)
bullet1 can of peas (standard 8-12oz can)
bullet1 can cream of mushroom soup (standard 8-12oz can)
bulletsalt
bulletpepper
bulletpotato chips (optional)

Cook half the noodles. Mix noodles in a bowl with the onion, tuna, peas, and cream of mushroom soup. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in some crushed potato chips (optional). Transfer mixture in casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
