ADS L570 8" 2-way Speakers, Only $189 pr.

If you know speakers you will know ADS was some of the best ones available in the late 70's and early 80's. They blew everyone away with their flagship L810. ADS build quality was second to none. All their drivers were top quality. The sound was dead flat with solid bass. The sound was so uncolored some thought they sounded sterile but they were just getting used to an accurate sound. This L570 is a more reasonable and affordable design than the super expensive models, yet shares the same technology. I was doing some Internet research and many felt this was one of the better sounding ADS models. It features an acoustic suspension 8" woofer and a 3/4" dome tweeter. This set has a walnut veneer cabinet that is finished in matte black. They have the perforated metal grills. Dimensions: 11 5/8"w x 11"d x 19"h.

Nice cosmetics and fully functional. Bench tested. There is one rip in a woofer cone that was expertly repaired. Epoxy was used on the back and a waterproof, high quality carpenter glue on top. The result turned a problem into a cosmetic distraction. The function is now perfect. Cabinets are solid but were touched up in a few places. Only $189 plus shipping. (46 lbs Net, 52 lbs gross pr.)
