Alan and Helene (Barrel of Music Productions) and Baker Books of Dartmouth, MA, sponsor trips to New York City's Greenwich Village to visit the many independent and specialty book stores in the Village.

This is a one-day bus trip to Greenwich Village to explore this unique area that boasts an impressive variety of neighborhood bookstores.  These are the type of bookstores that do not take up an entire block and still offer specialized attention to their patrons.  Over twenty independent bookstores are located within a single square mile area.  Think of any literary genre and there is most likely an independent new or used bookstore in that area that covers it.  

All participants will receive a map showing all the bookstore locations and a description of each store so that you can meander at your own speed.

DEPART:  - Motorcoach bus at 6:00 am.  Shaws on Route 6 in Dartmouth 

RETURN: same day, approximately 10:30 pm. 

COST: $70.00 per person non-refundable: includes bus, guide materials, optional literary walking tour, and all administrative costs.  A $25 deposit, non-refundable, will reserve a seat.  the deadline for the balance due is September 30    , 2008.  Cash, check or money order accepted made out to Deborah Baker and mailed to:
