BAY MARITIME SERVICES - LLC

Captain Benny Peters has over forty years of experience on Southern New England waters in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Captain Benny holds a USCG 100 GROSS TONS Masters Captain License and is a qualified Coxswain in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Prior to developing Bay Maritime Services-LLC, Captain Benny worked as an Electrical Engineer, Project Manager and finally Proposal Manager in the hi technology gas and refining process systems industries.

Each year Captain Benny volunteers hundreds of hours in the USCG Auxiliary to assist the U. S. Coast Guard in a variety of capacities such as UTV (Uninspected Towing Vessel Examiner) and Life Raft Inspector, safety patrols, harbor patrols, Vessel safety checks, Recreational Safe Boating courses and working with elementary students in the Sea Partners Program.

Captain Benny established Bay Maritime Services-LLC because of this involvement with the recreational boaters, so that he could impart his experiences and training on the water to others.
