At BCG Music, we teach family music classes in Madison, Wisconsin that are designed to nurture the musical bond between you and your child. Our classes help you and your child develop a strong musical bond through singing, chanting, moving, dancing, listening, and playing simple instruments. Musical play activities are designed to increase your child's curiosity about music, to develop listening skills and a sense of beat, and to establish the foundation for singing and musical thought.

BCG Music strives to reach as many children as possible by setting affordable tuition prices. It is our belief that every child should have the opportunity to be involved in music as a young child. We are grateful to First Baptist Church for allowing us to use their space rent-free, enabling us to offer such affordable rates.

Musikgarten is our chosen curriculum because of its comprehensive, sequential plan for the musical development of your child from birth to age 9. Each course stands on its own and fits the developmental needs of the child, and yet each works together to provide the foundational building blocks that will benefit your child as they grow. Favorite activities are revisited throughout the program and build on what the child has mastered and enjoyed by incorporating new, developmentally appropriate skills. Class time is educational, fun, and purposeful.

Musikgarten is a group class program where children and parents share musical activities under the guidance of an early childhood music specialist. Through singing, moving, listening, and playing simple instruments, children develop a strong musical foundation in pitch recognition, steady beat, rhythm patterns, and music repertoire. You are highly encouraged to purchase CDs, family activity guides, and instruments to continue the bonding and fun of music with your child at home.
