What happened to my country

So I'm getting ready to go to bed... then I read this article and a disturbing night of sleep awaits me.

Why? There is supposed to be a separation between church and state. As many of you who know me, I don't believe in any organized religion. I think religion is a hinderance on society that causes war, due to the fact that in most religions it is mandatory to bring in others to agree with what you believe, if not they are going to hell and are fine to kill. More people have been killed on this planet in the name of "god" than any other wars ever waged combined.

Going back to the story. I trust science, if we didn't have science and questions our society would not be where we are today. The trends in our society are starting to scare the hell out of me. If you don't believe in evolution because of your religion fine. Just sit through the class and go home. Don't force how you believe on others. I'm sure no matter what religion you are (Christian, Jew, Muslim, Buddist, or whaterver) you'll appreciate just the facts that don't refer to how someone else believes.

Don't trust the Red States...
