Better Get Me an Oar

Well, by now you have already read about the massive earth quake and corresponding tsunamis that have killed thousands. This massive global event occured at an area of the world that is less developed as far as earthquake technology. I feel bad for all the people, especially the children that drowned.

The kicker that got me is that the UN basically said the US was being stingy when we initally pledged 15 million dollars to start of with and sending over help and pledged military help if needed with troops and supplies. Now the UN is the biggest sham in this world. The European Union only sent 3 million. Kofi, why don't you just quit and retire on the oil for food money.

We in the US are the first to blame in any situation. In a situation that we try to help it isn't good enough. I'm getting so sick and tired of it. Do we ask for help when we suffer a natural disaster? Between Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Earthquakes, and everything else that happens in the US no one offers us help, we are always expected to bear our own burden. This two faced world society is really beginning to piss me off.
