Commercial Hell

I sit here in my cube everyday... busting my hump trying to get things to work out right. I listen to the radio right next to my computer.

This time of year makes me ill, so many commercials on the radio. The thing that gets me is that nowadays advertisers are using 'Guilt' to get guys to buy expensive gifts for women. Now don't get me wrong, if you want to spend alot of money on a loved one you should. But if you don't have the cash, and your significant other keeps hearing commericals like: "Show her how much you really care" and you don't get her something nice, well I don't like egg on my face.

If you love someone, if you get them a card you make yourself they would be overjoyed. Life isn't about materialistic things, and so many people think of it that way. Notorious for this are the jewerly commercials, every kiss begins with Kay. This makes me physically ill.

Just a thought.
