House of Cards
So another weekend has passed. The nice thing about weekends is that i get a chance to sleep. If someone asked me what one of my favorite things to do is, i would have to answer sleep. I get so little time to sleep during the week, every hour on the weekend is great. There isn't anything like laying in a big comfy bed resting. It's taken for granted alot.
In other news, I spent alot of this weekend researching and developing some .net placeholders. I hope to eventually release some of these to GotDotNet. I have finally started to master the basics of XML Programming. Using XSLT style sheets to transform and massage the data is finally coming into being. This is making my life much easier.
I will be attending Jeff Long's wake tomorrow evening. I have had a pretty terrible holiday season so far. I talked with his brother Brad a couple of times over the weekend. I feel so bad for Brad and his family. I know this has to be terrible on them especially during this time of year. I'm glad I can take the time to go and visit them during their sorrow. Be at peace Jeff.
As I get older, these things hit me pretty hard. Life is so short. Make the best of out it, make yourself and others happy. You only get one chance.
