My SUV Rant with a Touch of Cell
Why in the world do people have to buy such large ass SUVs? Is it the new status symbol, or a makeup for a small wang? I see these monsters, Escalade, Hummer, etc... on the roads. Ok it's bad enough they get 2 feet to the gallon... but people whom drive these rolling tanks on wheels have no respect to other drivers.
Just because you own a 4 ton car doesn't give you kingship over the roads. Over this past weekend I was cut off not 1, not 2, but 4 times buy SUV drivers whom either aren't using their mirrors.. or just could give a rats ass about killing me. To add insult to injury 50% of these drivers were on their cell phones and all but one was a woman.
Now I'm not sexist or anything, I don't care if your male or female but for f's sake this is getting stupid. All I got to say is take your 40k rolling status symbol and drive off a cliff.
PS: Btw, they don't necessarily offer more protection than a standard automobile...
