Calling Pat Robertson
Have you seen this about the guy who went into the church group and gunned down many of the members:
"The man who fatally shot seven people during a quiet church service before turning the gun on himself was on the verge of losing his job and upset over a sermon he heard two weeks ago, investigators said Sunday."
Now as some of you know I am not big on religion. I actually think religion is one of the worst thing ever to be taught on this planet. More people die in the name of God than anything else, I don't care if it's Christian, Muslim, Hindu, or The Force. Whenever you mentally teach someone to believe a way you instinctly think it can be very dangerous.
Back to our local yokle. So the guy gets miffed at a sermon, comes in guns blazing. That is one thing i never understood about ANY organized religion. The basis of the religion is to try and teach a person "morality". This is bullshit. I don't need anyone telling me how I should be as an adult.
Hear me out here. You go to a church... you are basically paying (yes the offering) to have someone mentally treat you. To tell you that if you don't do good you are going to hell, that the "end times" are near. Now I can't tell you how much anger I have towards any religion that preaches fear. You are a cancer on society and should be ashamed of yourself.
Now don't get me wrong, if you want to believe in a higher power (as our lovely president always does) good for you. Just keep your religion out of my way and let me believe how i wish to.
As you can see from the above news example, if you mentally treat someone... and they themself have mental issues, bad things can happen. They quote people asking "why would he do this" "he was such a nice man".... well ... as we can see sometimes people can snap. When this happens don't be the one who's top on the shitlist.
The only good thing about any preacher i've seen lately is the farting preacher clips on the net. Now if there was a preacher that just farted.. and that's all he did.. that there is a preacher.
