I was thinking earlier today about the news in general. As of lately I have really lost interest in general news. Only to reinforce that is the Terri Schiavo mess.
Most of you probably wouldn't know that a student on Prozac killed 10 students and injured more at a high school in Minnesota. Why? Because the Government and media cares more about a vegetable than kids. You see it all over the place. You know what, this is a PERSONAL MATTER. I'd be more concerned about inflation, the war, social security, guns and schools etc.. than a personal matter.
I was talking to duck about this. Republicans are so gun ho about protecting the "sanctity" of marriage. Then they pass a law taking the "sanctity" out of a husband fullfilling a final wish of his wife. Talk about a big load of bullshit. Let Terri die and be thankful that she has passed on. There is no way in hell that I would ever want to live like she has over the past 14 years.
Here is a side note. Without the currently technology we have Terri would have never lived in the first place. That's right she would of already been dead. A MACHINE is keeping her alive via a feeding tube. Now I've seen the Matix and I don't want any machine keeping me alive without any hope of being the person I once was. I would take the red pill.
