Bitch Better Have My Ice
I'm sitting here watching tv, and decide hey i'm going to go to Sonic to get a blast (their ice cream concrete). So i hop in my car and zoom off to get my tasty treat.
I pull up to Sonic, now they are extremely close to my apartment and i know they are un-godly slow... so i know i'm in for a treat no matter what. I pull up just as another lady zooms in front of me to the drive through window. I'm slighly miffed but hey tis life. The funny thing ensued, i have my window down and can hear what the lady is saying.
Haggard Lady "I would like a bag of Sonic Ice"
Sonic Worker "That will be $1.57 mam"
Haggard Lady "WHAT, you have a sign that says ice is 99cents"
===moment of silence while Sonic worker double checks ===
Sonic Worker "Mam our current price with tax is $1.57"
Haggard Lady "This is ridiculous, you have a sign that says ice is 99cents"
Sonic Work "I'm sorry mam but the prices have changes"
Haggard Lady "Well that is @#$@#$ ridiculous, I'm going to be writing to Mr. Sonic"
===Haggard Lady screetches off in her beat up ford taurus cursing===
First of all, i've been to this sonic many times and they USED to have a sign saying ice was 99cents.. this is now gone... so the lady was either mistaken or assumed if she said the price.. she would get it.
Secondly, who the hell is Mr. Sonic??
